My hands are how it all started, making a leather handbag for my mother. I am a woman of the craft. Creating things by hand is something that I've mastered over time and fallen in love with. Not just leatherwork and bookbinding but needlework, cooking and much more. Over the years as Queensberry grew I got busier and busier, and, for much of each year, I've put this aside. THE DOLPHIN, THE GAZELLE, THE CHEETAH AND THE LION Originally published on The Candid Eye, what makes this post by James Yeats-Brown so compelling is that its passion comes from James' clients as much as from him. A lovely and revealing insight into the motivation behind family photography. - Ian When I arrived at Mike and Clare’s house, Mike was wielding a pen-knife in boy scout fashion and excitedly removing an old sepia photograph from a crumbling frame. The image depicted a formal group at a wedding, a family gathering posed in a static arrangement to allow To View More >>

Their photographer, Krista (from Krista Fox Photography), said, The wedding was beautiful in its classic simplicity. Mana and Sepehr are a beautiful couple, and the perfect complement to one another. Take a look at their 15x12 Duo - (the photographs in the abandoned ballroom are my favourite!) A beautiful translucent page to start the album. The first look and couple photos were taken at the top of the King Edward Hotel in a 1920s ballroom that was abandoned in 1950s with the implementation of stricter To View More >>

Our color schemes, food and drink selections, and seating arrangements around the dance floor all helped achieved this." Their day was captured by Sylvie (from Sylvie Gil Photography) who is based in California, USA. A Futura translucent title page. Ashley is glowing in her Anna Maier dress! Jimmy, their photographer from IZO Photography is based in Perth, Australia. Claire wore a dress specially made by a close friend of hers, coupled with a beaded bolero and chilli red shoes – simply stunning. I love First Looks.
