We offer a wide range of cover styles for our Books and Albums. This page assumes you've chosen a cover material, and explains how you can personalise it: whether with personal embossing, laser engraving, a cover motif, or with a photo front or wrap-around. For technical
Special requests: We may be able to combine different cover styles (eg an embossing paired with a wrap-around). If you have an idea, ask us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Additional charges may apply.
Standard personal embossing
Perhaps our most popular cover style. Select from our range of fonts and supply the text you want us to emboss — typically names and dates. Some fonts allow for two lines of text, some one. The embossing can be foiled in one of seven colours or "blind embossed" (no foil).
You may prefer to supply your own artwork for us to emboss, such as a monogram or logo, or a font that's not available in our standard range. Or you may need more characters than our standard range offers. The cost will depend on the size. Blind or foil embossed.
A cover motif is an inlay added to the front cover of the album to display an image or graphic on a coloured backing. You can choose from a range of styles, including a variety of both text and image options, and with backing colours to suit all tastes. Available on all cover materials.
Wrap-around covers can project a variety of "looks" from an old-school leather-bound journal to a discreet, feminine album that's perfect for bridal or intimate boudoir photography. Available in all cover materials except Micro Leather.
Designable Canvas Covers are available for Q Books and Portrait Albums, and for other albums by request. We custom design them for you. Click the link for how to order, and to view the styles available.
A photographic print is bound to the front cover, protected by a textured laminate. The material of your choice covers the spine and back. We offer both "half" and "full" Photo Front covers.
Laser engraving is very striking, but available on a limited range of materials, depending on the fabric's appearance after the surface has been marked by the laser. Please check our online cover swatches for availability. You can laser up to half the area of the front cover.
Studio Embossing allows you to brand the products we produce for your clients. You supply artwork for your logo, and the first time it's used we charge you at the same rate as for custom embossing. After that we will emboss products on request for an affordable, standard charge.
Companion Embossing works much the same as Studio Embossing, and allows you to use a Standard or Custom embossing on more than one product. You pay the full charge for the first product, and can then re-use the block on other products for the same low cost as Studio Embossing.
