The key is to make products an expected and effortless part of your process — not a last-minute add-on. When you position prints, albums, and frames as a meaningful part of the photography experience, clients will begin to see them as essential, not optional. Here are a few simple ways to make product sales feel natural and genuine: 1. Show, Don’t Just Tell Always have stunning samples on hand. Let clients To View More >>

“Art is the most intense mode of individualism that the world has known.” – Oscar Wilde In this series we shine a light on artists expressing their individuality, documenting what they love, working hard on their craft, and sharing it with the world. You’ve twisted our arm — again — so we’re making Print Shop available on all our Workspace plans, including Lifetime. The point some of you made is a good one. On Lifetime and Basic Queensberry supplies the product — you’re making a profit on the printing and products, so do us a deal ;-) So here it is — the only difference between our three Workspace plans now is the data limit, and that you’ll need Pro to self-fulfill (offer products not sourced from Queensberry). Follow the link to check out Workspace and Print Shop. For a one off payment To View More >>

How do you design a Queensberry album? Well, we can design it for you, or you can do it yourself using third party software like Fundy or SmartAlbums, our desktop application Photojunction, or the Workspace Album Designer. But — let's be frank — until now the Workspace design feature has been just a little underpowered! We've been working hard to change that, however, and we reckon Workspace Album Designer is turning into a powerful and intuitive program that for many people could just be their best choice. Want prints, wall art and boxes in time for Christmas? Our pre-Christmas deadline for books and albums is coming up fast, but it doesn’t apply to loose prints, canvases, boxes etc. But! although we don’t set deadlines for those products, we strongly recommend getting your orders in early. As time passes it gets harder to be sure you’ll get delivery in time, and if too many people leave their orders until the last minute someone’s bound to be disappointed… So, as we did with albums, here's a little nudge to get your orders in early and beat the Holiday Rush. This weeks 'Share of the Week' goes to James Kelly Photography, based in the UK, who shared a great Queensberry flushmount album video and words about the importance of printing. Thanks for sharing, James. There’s a wee thank you on its way to you. "Let's talk about the digital files. "The truth is, the high-resolution digital files should not be at the top of your priorities of the final product when deciding on a wedding package/photographer it should be the album. Yes by having those files, you will be able to print them as you please and make a wedding book etc but To View More >>

Travel photographer Lola is a Kiwi born and bred, and her work inspires the adventurer in all of us. She has a bubbly and life-affirming attitude that shines through her photography, and motivates us to get out and explore. We’ve partnered with Lola in her photography exhibition, Aqua Frizzante. Driven by the calmness and solitude the ocean can bring, she focuses on movement and textures as she floats alone, with a more abstract approach than we’re used to. We can’t wait to see what she’s installed. Details below. Lola got into photography at a pretty young age, To View More >>
