When we think about "client experience" we can concentrate too much on logistics — timely communication, smooth booking, on-time delivery. Those things matter — a lot — but the real magic happens when we focus on how our clients feel at every stage of the journey. Because at the heart of photography is emotion. People book us to capture something meaningful: a moment, a milestone, a memory. And long after they’ve forgotten what they paid or how many images they received, they’ll remember what it was like working with us. So, what do you To View More >>

We’re thrilled to announce updates to our online galleries to suit both school AND wedding/portrait photography. Are you a full-time wedding and portrait photographer who shoots a few school or day care sessions? Or maybe you’re the opposite? You focus on school sessions but shoot weddings on the side? Either way, until now you couldn’t do both in one Workspace account — and that didn’t suit everyone!  Well, that’s changing. If you have a Pro account, just go to your Workspace Image Galleries, click on New Gallery, and you’ll have three choices To View More >>

I think there are a few questions here — does the difference in price matter? Are people undercharging? — and anyway, how much should you charge? I'll leave the last one for later, but meantime… 1. Why might you need to charge differently for your art versus To View More >>

Updated December 13. We think four words describe Studio Albums — simple, affordable, contemporary, speedy! They've generated a lot of excitement, and had us thinking hard, s o here’s what we mean by Studio Albums, and where we’re going with the range. Watch out for introductory offers, coming soon. Contemporary Don’t get us wrong, we love the grandeur of a large album — but there’s no denying the appeal of smaller sizes. With Studio Albums we’re embracing the trend with two new size, 9x9 and the gorgeous 12x9, our new favourite. To View More >>

The presentation boxes our albums come in don’t even bear our name, but to us, and our customers, they're a key part of our identity, and express the quality and classic design we stand for. Like Tiffany’s Blue Boxes … but maybe not quite as famous! Our boxes must be intensely practical too, and work across a huge variety of sizes, colours and cover materials. So when we redesigned them in 2016 we didn't throw out the old ones, we refreshed and upgraded them — with more silkscreen passes, new colours and matching grey To View More >>

The lead up to the holidays can be a very lucrative time for photographers, but it can also put pressure on getting product orders in on time, so your clients can have them for the holidays. One way to be very prepared is to bulk order Slip-in Mats and Studio Boxes. In Pearl or Carbon Buckram, these Boxes sell themselves. You can personalise them with your own logo on the lid. Branding products like this turns them into your silent salesmen when your clients take them home. Any unsold boxes or mats can carefully be tucked away for your next print reveal.
