We very rarely share the positive reviews we receive from our clients but the other day we received a pretty special one from one of our new Print Shop users, Damien Lovegrove. He's a "go for it" guy who'd launched his store within a week of deciding to use Print Shop, and within days of that made his first large format canvas sale. We're sharing his review for two reasons: It offers great advice for anyone starting out — why he chose the platform, and the challenges he faced when setting it up. If you're already using Print Shop we'd love your thoughts over on the insider about what features To View More >>

Some Workspace users have more than one account (separate brands for their wedding and portrait businesses, for example). Some busy studios have several people working in the same Workspace account (photographers, designers, sales people, for example). And some users do work for the owners of multiple Workspace accounts (album designers, editors, site managers, for example). In all those scenarios the Workspace Accounts and Users function makes life very easy. Save 40% on your annual Workspace subscription. Just quote WS40 when subscribing or updating. To View More >>

The Queensberry Design team designed this gorgeous 10x10 Flushmount Album. See it in all its glory below... A Translucent title page is the perfect start to any album. Rugby World Cup fever is gripping New Zealand at the moment, which ties in nicely with my topic (sort of). Twenty teams are here to be beaten by the mighty All Blacks. (Go you good things!) OK, all the teams want to win, but only one can. Whereas our goal is to deliver the best possible books and albums, so everyone wins. How's that for cheesy? But we mean it! We have had an influx of press book orders over the last few months and nearly everybody has been over the moon about them. However not everyone has had the same warm fuzzy feeling. Why? Often it's the nature of the product itself. Press To View More >>

Last week I wrote about the latest David Jay hate war, and said that if a courtroom attorney asked whether I agreed with his Shoot and Share strategy - and demanded a Yes-No answer - I’d have to say, “Yes I do.” Why? Because social sharing is a reality whether we like it or not, because social sharing is a powerful new form of word of mouth, and because Shoot & Share is a big step up the social scale from Shoot & Burn. Also I don't like hate wars. But this is not a TV courtroom drama, so if you're thinking of building a career in social photography, we believe the typical Shoot and Share To View More >>
