SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Photoshop

Over the past few weeks we've been working on resources to help support you with your marketing. Today we're launching our first Social Media Marketing Kit.  This first kit includes twelve unique designs for sales promotions. As you can see it's focused on albums and prints, but it's easy to swap out the text and images in Photoshop for your own purposes. They can be used on Instagram and Facebook, or included in your marketing ads.  Over the next few weeks we'll be launching more resources, so stay tuned. We hope you like them!   Download the pack below, To View More >>

Modern cameras have sensors capable of producing big, beautiful images. They output files that can make large wall portraits without effort. But what happens when you want the image to be smaller, as in an album? What happens when you downsize a file that's big enough to print a large wall portrait, to create a 3x2" image on a page layout? We have released a new Queensberry colour profile to simplify your workflow. Changes to the profile itself are minor. The difference is that until now we've distributed paper-specific colour profiles (Lustre, Metallic etc). That became unwieldy with the introduction of multiple paper stocks for our inkjet and digital offset printers. We now offer a single soft-proofing colour profile, and make adjustments at Queensberry depending on the print and paper options you have requested. WHAT TO DO You can download our profile from this page. With Aperture and Lightroom, simply follow the software's directions To View More >>

All software evolves as new features are added and new versions released. Photojunction and Photoshop are no exception, and, as PJ takes advantage of more, often newer, features of Photoshop, its "backwards compatibility" with older versions is lessened. That's why we recommend that you use Photoshop CS3 or later with Photojunction. If you use CS2 or even earlier, chances are that it will work fine, but you may occasionally find that some PSD files don't import correctly as images or templates, or that you get error messages when exporting with PS scripting. If that happens, all Support can do To View More >>

Why not design your albums in Photoshop or InDesign? A lot of people do, and they're great applications – we depend on them both ourselves. A few thoughts … Adobe don't think designing your albums in Photoshop is a good idea. That's not what it's for. Adobe's page layout software is InDesign. So how much does InDesign know about wedding and portrait photographers, their workflow, their albums and their suppliers? InDesign doesn't know what DPI your lab needs, or what file type, or what size the printed layouts should be, or about bleed and trim requirements, or what colour management processes To View More >>
