This week's album is Evagoras Mandrides Photography of the UK. This is a traditional Greek wedding, something Evagoras is very familiar with. His clients often take part in the standard, pre-wedding preparations at their homes, then have a Greek Orthodox church service followed by an evening full of dancing — and further traditions too many to list! According to 'Greek Wedding Traditions', it's traditional for family members to tie a red scarf, as a blessing, around the bride and groom's waists. "When the bride is dressed and ready, her parents, grandparents and other To View More >>

This week's 'Album of the Week' goes to Ian and Emma from Ian Scott Photography. "We had the pleasure of meeting with Sarah and Ben several times before the wedding day," Emma says. "First at their pre-wedding shoot, then at the studio for newborn photographs of their baby daughter. They were so chilled out we knew we would have a great day capturing their wedding." The album is a 14x10 Fine Art Flushmount with a Sahara Faux Leather cover. "Their wedding venue, Offley Place, is a beautiful country house hotel in Great Offley. Talk about wedding envy! The Queensberry team are practically swooning over Helen and Michael's gorgeous album by Ellie Gillard. Every detail of the day is highlighted beautifully, and given the attention it deserves. Helen & Mikey (as he’s known to Helen) got married at Trinity Buoy Wharf in the Docklands. It's one of Ellie's favourite venues in London, both urban and epic. Treated to one of the first hot days of 2016, the wedding party, and Ellie, cruised down the Thames to the reception, drinking prosecco on an ever-so-slightly 70s party boat, before feasting, To View More >>
After a little wedding invitation inspiration? From Mashable... "Two German geeks/gamers just upped the ante when it comes to wedding invitations. The pair programed two versions of a Mario-inspired 8-bit video game as their wedding invitations and sent them out to friends and family. Guests are challenged to beat the game should they wish to unlock the wedding details. Their video game wedding invitations — dubbed Incredible Adventure — also included some custom packaging and two different versions of the game so would-be guests could play as either the bride or the groom. Being half way across the world (literally!) I couldn’t have felt further away from the Royal Wedding two years ago. But after reading photographer Gavin Dickson’s description of the day, it transported my mind back to Westminster Abbey, and I re-lived the wonder, expectation and emotion all over again! Gavin said that at the time of the Royal Wedding he was "Chief Photographer at the Express & Star, the United Kingdom's biggest selling regional newspaper and I knew a couple of months in advance that I'd be photographing the Royal wedding in London.” Gavin was one of the few To View More >>

Three months was all Juliane and Chris needed to put together their beautiful DIY wedding. They rented a lovely house for the weekend in Austin, Texas where a small intimate ceremony took place. Their photographer Sarah Jaine Photography describes the day as “Beautiful, unique and truly representative of how I know them to be.” Their album starts with a translucent title page I just love the ceremony shots - Chris and Juliane are glowing. It was a small intimate ceremony with just immediate family and close friends - they even had their friend marry them (he applied for a license). Chris To View More >>

Michelle and Guy wed at the Milk Station in Otaki, New Zealand. The photographer of the day was Siaosi Photography who are based in Wellington, New Zealand. With a wedding of only 25 guests, it was a relaxed and intimate day shared with loved ones – the perfect celebration for Michelle and Guy. Translucent title pages are a great introduction to any album. I just adore the soft shades of purple & grey throughout this 10x10 Flushmount Album (I'm a sucker for anything Lavender!) Relationships with local wedding venues are a great way to build a strong wedding and portrait business, and a beautiful display album featuring the venue works well for both parties. Simon Whitten is a long-standing and valued Queensberry client from Yorkshire in England. His association with the luxury castle hotel Swinton Park is very important to him, and for years his Queensberry sample album has rested on the piano in the drawing room. When the time came to update it, the question was “with what?” These days most of his clients tend towards the 14x10 Duo that Simon prefers. But feeling To View More >>

How interesting are your wedding photos? It depends how old they are. If your wedding was a month ago you love them. If your wedding was a year ago maybe you haven't thought about them in a while. If your wedding was twenty years ago you won't have thought about them in years! If your wedding was thirty years ago that hunk you married is someone's granddad. If your wedding was forty years ago, your grandkids are a bit impressed by the hunk that Granddad used to be … and how strangely people dressed back in the day. § After forty years those old pictures are as interesting as they were a month To View More >>

Fiona and Joey's Valentines day wedding was shot by Gino Demeer of Cactus Photography earlier this year at Woodlands Homestead in Gordonton, New Zealand. Gino designed this 14x10 Duo and added a 7-inch copy album to complete the set for the couple. He also had another set made to for his own client sample collection. Carry case and all. Here's a few shots of his Graphite Leather album... Click here to view a slideshow of Fiona and Joey's wedding album. To see more of Gino's work check out his blog here.
