This sample album for Feather & Birch Photography (AUS) features a stunning venue and impressive photography.  Matt from Feather and Birch says, "Mudgee-based, I travel the globe to photograph the world's best weddings. But no matter how far I roam, there’s nowhere like home. This little gem is probably our favourite venue in New South Wales! A big white marquee set amongst the vineyards makes the perfect backdrop for some of Mudgee’s best weddings. "We spend a lot of our weekends out here but this album captures some of our favourites from the 2017 season." The album To View More >>

This sparkly, baby pink Q-box could not be more perfect for wee Harlyn’s photographs. Each photograph is bursting vibrancy and character. Katrina from Accent Photography in Auckland, New Zealand was behind the lens and what a beautiful job she has done! Katrina has chosen a 14x10 Q-box covered in Buckram Pretty Pink. Customize embossing is positioned at the bottom right in our ‘Futura’ style. I love the all the bright colours in this shoot (and not to mention all the candy!) You can choose either a 14x11 or 8x10 Matted Q box with four depths To View More >>

Spot the difference? Yes, one photo's new, one's old. One's in colour, but they're both gold. Rivers of gold! Sure, the new gold is data, but like the old gold it's hard to mine. They reckon perhaps 3,500,000,000,000 photos have been taken in human history, and maybe 3,500,000,000 of those in the last twelve months. Even the people who took them know that most of them are crap! Digging for gold in that lot is like panning for gold in that river. Tough work and hardly anyone's going to do it. Want to do your photos a favour? Pick the best ones (one in ten? a hundred?) and delete the rest. Don't To View More >>

I have two daughters at school. The youngest did well at the end of year prize giving and the older one threw a wobbly over it. She got nothing. I told her she couldn't blame anyone but herself as she is happy with just getting by. I suggested this to her: You have ten girls lined up in a row, nine are wearing black dresses and one is wearing red. Which one will be noticed? The girl in red, she says. Why? Because she's wearing a different coloured dress. Yes, she stands out from the crowd. She's made a conscious effort to do this (or her black dress is in the wash!) Anyway my point is, if you To View More >>

Hello Dears We haven't spoken for an age, but the latest Photojunction release is dear to my heart, so I thought I'd put down my knitting and tell you about it. The PJ boys are very conscious that the Problem Reporter can be frustrating, so they've added a check box which, if you want to, lets you "hide" PJ's warnings (marked with yellow triangles*) so they don't show up again. Now I wouldn't ignore automatically the problem reporter, but it can be a bit bossy sometimes, so this does feel very grown up, don't you think? A bit like the first time you realised people weren't asking you for ID any To View More >>

We've just removed the password protection from the knowledge base on our Partner website, making most of it accessible to anyone. Most of it's just detailed product and service information that our clients might want to check out from time to time - so it's not like Wikileaks would be interested! - but some of it's a bit sensitive, which is why it's been restricted. Some of you've been saying it's frustrating having to log in, however, which is why we've put most of the content out in the open. The only exception is the Marketing and Business section which is still locked down. That's where all To View More >>

Further to Anna's emotional cry to 'save people in photographs from random and thoughtless amputations'… I was trying to think of a way to 'stop the suffering'. It occurred to me that we could specifically shoot for the panoramic opportunity. Shoot what you might call 'the subject image' and then move slightly to get the 'rest of the scene' photograph. Use the spine as the aligned join for these images to create a panoramic effect. This has two advantages. The enlargement required is less, keeping the quality up. You plan more for the placement of your subject so that nobody has to lose an arm. To View More >>
