You, the photographer, are entrusted with telling the story of a couple's day ... not any old day ... it's the BIG one. [caption id="attachment_8319" align="alignleft" width="333" caption="The bride and groom"][/caption] They want it told with beauty and creativity. They chose you because they saw your work and figured that you would be the best person to tell their story. Or was it that they fell in love with your prices, and assumed that all photographers were equal (except for pricing)? Ultimately we are telling a story ... we need to know whether we are the authors or the observers, and apply To View More >>

You may have noticed our email has been down for the past couple of days. We're glad to report that the problem has apparently now been fixed (a damaged cable) and we're all back online. Fingers crossed! Emails sent to us while the server was down may be a little delayed in getting to our inboxes but we'll respond as soon as we can. Our apologies again for the inconvenience. It's a relief to be back on line. To View More >>

Yesterday we hosted our second intro to Queensberry's plug-in for Aperture 3 webinar. Danny and Stephen explained the history behind the project and demonstrated the plug-in, covering everything from downloading and installing the plug-in to ordering an album. If you missed the live presentation not to worry, we've just uploaded a recording to our Vimeo Channel. Or you can stick around and watch it right here. (To watch it in full screen and high definition click here.) Cheers, Nigel PS. Haven't heard about Queensberry's new plug-in for Aperture 3? It allows professional photographers To View More >>

We've been off-line since the weekend – nearing the end of a fraught server upgrade! We apologise for the lack of communication. One of the consequences is that we haven't been able to read your mail in support suite - it's there but we can't access it - but at least there are still flesh and blood people working on your albums, and we'll email everyone as soon as we're up and running again. Shouldn't be long. To View More >>

The PJ team have done a great job of LabFTP 3.2, especially this: "If you quit LabFTP, or turn off your computer, or pull the plug – or even if our server goes down – just double click on the order in the Order History window and the upload will resume!" Click here for help with the new version (we'll cover the Print Ordering function in a day or two). Cheers, Ian To View More >>

If you want your order to sail smoothly through our ordering process, please make sure it's ready to go before you send it. Hopefully this post will give you some insight into why that's so important – why even minor changes to an order can cause a lot of work at our end. For example, suppose you request design or layout changes, or send us new versions of image files or album plans. First we have to call up your original order and work out exactly what you want done to it – not easy when we have hundreds of albums working their way through production at any one time.
