SEARCH RESULTS FOR: Quality

A strong online presence is essential for professional photographers looking to grow their businesses, and one of the most effective ways to do that is through blogging. “Blogging” might sound a bit old-fashioned these days, but really it just means any website or page that you update regularly. It could be about your clients, your images — or interesting stories about either of those. Regularly updating your website will not only showcase your photography skills but also boost your website's search engine rankings. To drive people to your site, earn customers and make sales. Hi, it's Stephen here. For a few weeks now we’ve been in deep discussions about how to navigate the current COVID crisis and, more importantly, support the industry we love so much. So it seems a little ironic that, as part of those discussions, today we’re releasing a book called “Love’s Not Enough”. Ironic because we do  love  our industry, we believe love  drives  our industry, and yet … love's not enough. Mark and Louise married on a really, really windy day, the 6th June 2015 at St John the Evangelist Church in the village of Langcliffe — the same Yorkshire Dales village church where Louise's Mum and Dad were married. We think Jade Doherty captured Mark and Louise's wedding  perfectly. We love the fully bled images, which create a perfect balance and highhlight the feature shots beautifully.  Tying of the gates, a local tradition: The church gates are tied together and coins thrown over for children of the village. The children collect the coins To View More >>

Heather is proud of our press books. Here she explains why… How 95% of the press/photobook market works First you buy a very expensive machine. Then you focus on how fast you can run it, how cheaply you can buy your paper, and how quickly you can bind and make covers. You print 4-colour. Above all else you focus on FEEDING THE MACHINE. You sell your product as cheaply as you can - and certainly not just to professional photographers. You don’t worry too much about colour because your customers don’t expect a lot, and probably think that a bad result is their own fault anyway. To View More >>

Betsy and Mark wed in the heart of Toronto, Canada at The Drake Hotel. Their photographer Christine (From Christine Lim Photography), said it was "Such a fun + heartfilled event. I couldn’t have asked to be a part of anything more genuine and, well FUN!" Betsy and Mark chose a 14x10H Duo. Christine has kept the design of this album consistent and timeless. (And it is always nice to see full bleed images!) These rooftop photographs are a lovely selection - and what a lovely Mother Daughter moment. All Duo images are printed on photographic paper using To View More >>

We always have a lovely selection of Q frames leaving dispatch, so I thought it was about time to share one! This beautiful Q Pro Frame is of sisters Tamsin and Georgie. Their dad Paul bought a gift voucher for their Portrait shoot with Borrowed Light Photography to surprise their mum Anna for mother’s day last year. The 9 aperture grid is a popular mat choice - perfect for displaying a selection of candid shots. This frame is a 14x14 Q Pro Box Frame. Queensberry Pro frames are high quality frames designed to look good and last. For more information on Q Frames click To View More >>

A relaxed garden party was the perfect fit for Chris and Donna's intimate wedding. They wed at Mantells in Auckland New Zealand where quality champagne and canapés were served and French jazz played. Their wedding has a gorgeous vintage feel to it - enhanced by the style of Jessica Photography's images. Click on the image to take a closer look - Donna's Sera Lilly dress is just beautiful. Words from the bride: "We made sure that our ceremony had a good mix of serious and fun so that our guests weren’t bored. We added in comical moments, honest truths about ourselves (– where the guests To View More >>

In many labs these days the only people who look at your prints are the Dispatch team. Strange as it seems, that makes sense – it's your files they’re printing, and something has to give if you want low prices. But it doesn’t make sense at Queensberry. We critique everything we print, including Print-Ready. The difference is we see the image files with Full Colour Service (because it’s our job to colour correct them) whereas we don’t see Print-Ready work until it’s printed . But why review Print-Ready work at all? Print-Ready means you edit your images yourself, and we don’t modify To View More >>
