Previous |  Contents | Download the eBook Oh, you wanted answers?! If you came here looking for answers I’m sorry. But I don’t feel too bad about it! You could sign up to Tony Robbins, for example — spend thousands on him — and he wouldn’t give you answers either. The lead up to the holidays can be a very lucrative time for photographers, but it can also put pressure on getting product orders in on time, so your clients can have them for the holidays. One way to be very prepared is to bulk order Slip-in Mats and Studio Boxes. In Pearl or Carbon Buckram, these Boxes sell themselves. You can personalise them with your own logo on the lid. Branding products like this turns them into your silent salesmen when your clients take them home. Any unsold boxes or mats can carefully be tucked away for your next print reveal. I had to laugh at Ikea’s new advert for the “bookbook". Check it out - love or hate Ikea, it's pretty clever. And besides having a laugh at Apple, it makes a very good point about real books. I love my iPhone and catching up with my friends on Facebook. The internet and the ways we connect with it are wonderful things. They've changed the world, changed how we do business, and brought us all a little closer. It's great to see beautiful images online too, but… it has a whole different meaning for me when I see them printed or I'm holding a book in my hand. There is something magic, To View More >>

Born and bred a Kiwi, Rachael has published fourteen books over the course of her career, reflecting her passion for photographing pets and babies. Rachael and Andy have been based in France for the last four years, so no surprise that her latest titles are the delightful The French Cat, The French Dog and Lunch in Provence. Rachael's latest project is The New York Dog. If you're card-carrying dog lovers like us, you'll find the images in this blog post heartwarming. To View More >>
