We sincerely apologise to those of you that have been affected by the current errors occuring when designing Flushmount albums in Photojunction. For those of you that wish to have a full bleed image on the page after a translucent title you will be encountering an error that stops you from proceeding. You’ve heard the saying about fitting square pegs in round holes? It can be very apt when it comes to choosing images for our Photo Front covers, especially the 1/4 Photo Front, as this screen shot from PJ Remix indicates – only a slice from the image will fit on the cover. Although I’ve used Photojunction to illustrate the problem, it solves the problem as well. In Photojunction simply drag the image you want to use on to the cover layout, as in the screen shot. Everyone has a different workflow, there's no question about it. Most wedding photographers have a shooting season and…the rest of the year. Depending on your clients, album design could be year round, but if you're lucky, you finish your album season shortly after your shooting season. The "downtime" is used for maintaining your business, small shoots, networking, and maybe taking it easier. Hi Guys, I have been having a few "GoToMeeting" video calls with clients recently and if I was going to comment about anything it would be how we manage files. There is a wide variety of ways people set up and work with their files, and sometimes they lead to confusion and frustration. What if you want us to print your cover image, but nothing else? 1. When you fire up the Remix Order Wizard , choose either the "Assemble From Prints Supplied" or Don't Assemble" option. 2. On the same screen the Wizard will offer a place to include "support files" for your album supplier. Open your folder of High-Res Export files and drag in a copy of the cover image (don't double up by sending it to your lab to print as well). 3. Cover layout design in PJ Remix Here are the first steps in preparing a perfect, hassle-free print-and-bind order, really fast. 1. First, upgrade to PJ Remix. If you have already, thank you. 2. We just had a webinar covering the Problem Reporter. Hopefully it helped clarify some questions you all had.I'm going to talk about problems that can occur after this step. There are two ways to export your printable files from Photojunction. You can do it through Photojunction Direct (if you just need JPGs) or you can use Photoshop (required if you need layered PSDs). If you choose to use Photoshop, the process is no longer completely controlled by Photojunction and this means that, unfortunately, we can't control everything that happens.
