The images in this Press Album are by photographer James Yeats-Brown, and all were taken on an iPhone using the Hipstamatic app. "I realise there's a bit of a debate brewing over this approach" says James, "but to me a photo is a photo - it has to stand on merit regardless of the means of capture - and if it works in a Queensberry then so much the better! More and more of my clients now own professional grade cameras themselves and I wanted to create something to demonstrate that interesting imagery isn’t just a product of expensive kit. So, although this started as a fun personal project it’s proving to be a great sample book and a talking point for prospective customers too. I really wanted to see if it was possible and I am now looking forward to doing an all-portrait version."
