Pinterest isn’t just a place for recipes or DIY crafts—it’s a powerful search engine and marketing tool for photographers. Pinterest offers a visual-first platform that’s tailor-made for showcasing your photography, attracting dream clients, and driving traffic back to your website. Think of Pinterest as a visual search engine Pinterest works more like Google than Instagram. When people search for ideas like “outdoor engagement shoot” or “newborn photo ideas,” Pinterest shows them curated results based on keywords and visuals. Here are three photos that won’t mean much to you but mean everything to me. They explain why I love wedding albums. The first is from my parents’ wedding in 1945, a beautiful sepia print in a classic folder. Young as he looks, Dad had just returned from five years at war. The girl on the left is his younger sister. Seven years later she married the young man on the right. Like my parents they were together for 55 years. The other woman is my mother’s best friend. I remember her, but she died quite young. The other uniformed man is my father’s best friend. I’m writing To View More >>

Previous | Contents | Download the eBook Oh, you wanted answers?! If you came here looking for answers I’m sorry. But I don’t feel too bad about it! You could sign up to Tony Robbins, for example — spend thousands on him — and he wouldn’t give you answers either. What he would do is entertain you, energise you, inspire you, drop a lot of insights on you — then get you to work out your own answers and write them down in a book! So, yeah — I’m sorry if I haven’t given you answers. What I do hope I’ve done is suggest where you To View More >>
As we reach our last workday before closing for the holidays we want to send you very sincere thanks for your support over the last year. While the pandemic itself is largely behind us — at least in the sense that people are generally back to “business as usual” — for much of the world the social and economic “hangover” is still with us. Some in our own industry are among those still feeling the after-effects, and our thoughts will be with them this Christmas. But overall our community continues to inspire us with its resilience in adapting successfully to a To View More >>
You’ve twisted our arm — again — so we’re making Print Shop available on all our Workspace plans, including Lifetime. The point some of you made is a good one. On Lifetime and Basic Queensberry supplies the product — you’re making a profit on the printing and products, so do us a deal ;-) So here it is — the only difference between our three Workspace plans now is the data limit, and that you’ll need Pro to self-fulfill (offer products not sourced from Queensberry). This week's Album of the Week is a 10x10 Classic Flushmount with Silver-Halide printing. The cover features Champagne Faux Leather and Bank Gothic Blind Embossing. The beautiful wedding photography belongs to Simon Biffen, who got married at the very same venue himself seven years ago. Based in Bath, UK, Simon captures free-flowing and fun photographs of weddings. Couples are often opting for more casual celebrations, involving games and pets in their photographs. "The wedding was held at the fabulous, Maunsel House, in June and the couple went for a super relaxed day." "They opted for a To View More >>

Typography plays an important role in the overall look of websites, so it's no surprise that one of the common things people want to do in Workspace is change fonts. Workspace offers a range that you can select from in the text widgets (as in the graphic) but what if you want something completely different? This tutorial will explain what to do. Warning! This will get a bit geeky, so if you're not comfortable coding CSS and HTML, contact us and for a small charge we can arrange to do the work for you. Otherwise get someone else with the necessary experience, as we To View More >>

After coming across Paul and Puyan’s wedding, we knew we had to chat with the photographer behind their beautiful photographs. Documenting love stories both in France and abroad, Jérémy Boyer has only been in the wedding industry for around four years, and says he's been taking it seriously for the past two! But with his clear vision and creative outlook he's already well recognised for his work. We discussed all things weddings, from mixed cultures and traditions, to the clients you attract, and of course Puyan's one-of-a-kind dress, made by herself. To View More >>

“Every two minutes people take as many photos as were taken throughout the whole 19th century.” Rachel is one of the Queensberry album design team, and she’s been collecting old photographs since she was at university. "My interest was sparked by reading Roland Barthes’ Camera Lucida (1980)”, she says. “The book was written after his mother’s death, and is as much about death as it is about photography. It was the idea that photographers are “agents of death” that really struck me.” “Any photo, no matter how recent, depicts To View More >>
