The PJ support team is on the front line everyday. They know what's what, when and why, so we're giving them a weekly spot to comment on an issue they've been dealing with over the past week. I'd get it in the neck from them if I didn't kick off by reminding you that you can find answers to many of your PJ questions already online - so be sure to check out the Photojunction Website, Blog or Forum. We'll kick off by explaining how to register Photojunction on a second computer... Cheers, Nigel To View More >>

You know that all important first impression? Well for a lot of people, the first impression they'll have of your business is your online Yellow Pages listing, and we spotted an interesting way some of our clients are making the most of theirs... Yellow Pages gives you the option to add search terms to your listing, to help describe what products or services you offer. What we noticed was that some of our clients were adding terms like 'Queensberry' or 'Queensberry Albums' to their listing. It's a simple idea but a powerful one too. Aligning yourself with a well known or reputable brand is a great To View More >>

Last night we released PJ Remix version 1.32 beta. We're pretty excited about some of the improvements and we've already had some great feedback. In this version we've focused heavily on refining current features. Alignment's a big one... We've added anchors (dots) to the alignment lines to indicate which apertures are perfectly aligned with each other. And we've made the snap-to guides even stickier to ensure your apertures snap in to alignment from even further out. You may have also noticed the red notification symbol above the Photojunction Store link on the home page. That'll show you the To View More >>

Here’s a wedding from the ends of the earth, where your albums come from. Louise and Tom were married before 250 guests at the First Church, Dunedin New Zealand, on 24th February 2007. Louise's dress was made by Louise Anderson of Christchurch (no relation!) with fabric brought back by the bride from a shopping trip in Italy. With that exception the groom was an equal opportunity wedding planner. The wedding was photographed by New Zealand’s 2006 Wedding Photographer of the Year Jo Grams, of Moda Fotografica . It was an “exhausting” 12 hour shoot, with just one photographer, and ended To View More >>

Sometimes it's nice to reminisce... When we started to rewrite Photojunction we named the master file "PJ Jr." as a joke - that name still stands as our project name today... some 3 years later. All the full time developers we started with for the rewrite, are still with us. It took 3,000 development hours to get Remix to a stage where we could send it to other staff to have a look. That would've taken one person a year and a half to complete on their own. My personal favourite email... One of our beta testers emailed to tell us she considered PJ Remix to be a 'metro' bit of software. The developers To View More >>

What caught our eye about Scott and Priscilla’s album was the stylish simplicity of their red and white theme, and how well it'd been captured and reflected in the details of their stunning album. Scott and Priscilla married on 30 September 2006 accompanied by a bridal part of 12. Their photographers Matt and Enna Grazier show in this album, how beautifully the design of a book can compliment the style of the wedding day. Click here for a slideshow of the album. Click it, and the templates from the album you've just designed, confirmed and ordered will be automatically uploaded to the Photojunction Store ready to be sold. All you'll have to do is fill out a few important details in the Sell window, like a short item description and how much you want to sell your collection for, and hit Done. It’s no wonder Luke and Chantal’s wedding album caught our attention. For starters, there were three albums, not one, and the first two featured the most amazing celebrations at a fabulous location. We certainly did “wish we were there”. Luke and Chantal were married in April 2007 in Mauritius, East Africa. Chantal had wanted to have her wedding at The One and Only, Mauritius since she was a little girl and spent time there with her family. The festivities lasted five days and included a welcoming cocktail hour, beach Olympics, a salsa party (featuring Emilio Estevez and his salsa dancers) To View More >>
