Studio Albums

Studio Albums

Albums for the modern photographer. Minimalist and versatile.

Make them yours: Versatile and affordable, Studio Albums are designed to reflect the trend to smaller, more intimate sizes, and to project your personal style through creative optional extras.

Just the album: If you do your own album design and colour correction you'll love Studio Albums. To help keep them affordable those services, and personal titles, are optional extras.

Sizes: 8x8, 9x9 and 12x9 - all with sample discount available. Also 12x8, which the 12x9 will replace over time (so there’s no sample discount on this size).

Cover Materials: Offered in all our cover materials including Designable Canvas. Photo Fronts and Wraparounds not available.

Presentation: Present them in the standard soft suede bag, or upgrade to our Designer Album Box (fold-over magnetic lid; no bow closure).

Personalisation: Personalise your album covers and boxes with blind or foil embossing,  either custom or standard text.

Branding: Project your name with affordable Studio Embossing. Companion embossing is also available.

Pages: Flushmount (un-matted) pages, creased (not cut) at the spine. Maximum of 60 thin pages (120 sides, apx 1.1mm) or 45 medium pages ( 90 sides, apx 1.75mm).

Print options: Offset printed on our popular Tintoretto (beautiful textured paper - no gloss) or new Matt paper (similar appearance to our Fine Art Inkjet prints). Also available: traditional Lustre photographic (silver halide) prints. Read more about our Paper Stocks and printing options here.

Frequently asked questions

What's the difference between Studio Albums and Flushmounts?

In terms of quality, absolutely nothing! But with Studio Albums (and Q-Books) we've made services like album design, colour correction and title pages optional extras. If you use those services Flushmount albums are a bargain. If you don't, Studio Albums are more affordable. As well, packaging, and the range of sizes and cover styles, are different in the Flushmount range.

What sorts of photography suits this product?

Nothing can beat an album for portrait work of any kind — from pets to families, newborns and boudoir. Anything where more than a few prints are to be presented. But with the ability to add so many pages, Studio Albums can work well even for weddings, where there are lots of images to display, and stories to tell.

Prices, samples and discounts

Once your account is approved, log in to Workspace and click “Pricing” in the main navigation, then “Books and Albums".

As well as regular promotions, we offer Sample Discounts, Tier Discounts (to regular clients) and Companion Discounts (if you order more than one product from the same set of images). Click here for details.

How do I order an album?

Once your account is approved, log in to Workspace and click “Buy” in the main navigation, then “Books and Albums". You’ll be taken through a step-by-step process to place your order and upload the image files. Ask us to design the album for you, or design it yourself in Workspace, Photojunction or third party software. To watch an in-depth video click here.

We review and process all orders manually so we can check that everything is set up perfectly before the album goes into production. Once any queries are resolved we will ask you to confirm the order and pay. Please respond promptly as orders remain on hold until then.

How long does it take to receive my album?

Follow this link to see the service times for each album type. Please treat the times as estimates and allow extra for delivery. Queensberry products are hand-made, and the volume of orders varies week to week and seasonally, which means production times can change.

Can you ship directly to my clients?

Yes, on request. For albums, add a note in special instructions with the name and address the album is to be sent to. Drop shipping is normally only available when your clients are in the same country as you. If so, there is no extra charge for the service. Dropshipped orders do not contain invoices or paperwork that would indicate the wholesale cost of the order from Queensberry to you.
