Ian Joins Queensberry
Heather's husband Ian joins the growing family business, which is soon shipping albums to Australia.
A New Generation
In 1996 a new generation of the family becomes involved and begins to lay the groundwork for a major expansion of the business.
Soon we are exploring new markets in North America and Europe and building a new online business model, selling direct to our customers everywhere.
In 2010 we enter the world of digital offset printing and launch Queensberry Press Books, a new standard in art books, as well as new print options in our albums.
2013 sees us utilise our pro lab and printing expertise to diversify our range of products, to include fine art prints, frames, canvas prints, print boxes and a new range of simple photo books.
After a time of intense change we redesign our websites to bring clarity to our products and services, and to renew our longstanding commitment to professional photographers.
Queensberry begins life in 1969 as Heather Baugh's leather crafts business.
Every Album made to order
Heather and Ian revolutionise the album business by resolving that in future they will make every album to order, promising to liberate photographers from the restraints and tired designs of album makers forever!
Photographers will be free to custom design each album to suit their images, and Queensberry can deliver contemporary products with high design values.
Photojunction AND THE LAB
The first release of our Queensberry-made album design software is followed by the purchase of New Zealand's Chromatek Pro Lab so we can offer our clients highly customised albums, fully printed and bound.
We release a new standard in high-end albums for clients who want only the very best in design, materials and craftsmanship.
In 2012 we release Workspace, bringing the photographer's studio workflow online with powerfully integrated features such as image hosting, online sales, album design and proofing.
FREE Design & Colour Correction
We offer album design and colour correction as a free service to help make life easier for pro photographers offering our albums.
