Marcus Bell is one of our long time friends, like when PJ Retro was the new big thing. When he's not busy running (the highly acclaimed and successful) Studio Impressions he's speaking at seminars and conferences. Marcus is running seminars in late February around Australia and New Zealand. A visit to one of the seminars will be well worth it, as Marcus will be "Sharing his knowledge and secrets from the last ten years, including The art of capturing emotive award winning Images, fine art printing, photoshop techniques and workflow. For those of you who don't live in Godzone (New Zealand, OK?) Vaughan Smith does the drive time show on New Zealand's top music station, The Edge. He and Fletch have arguably the funniest radio show in the country and I listen to them every day. So when I saw his album working its way through production I thought I'd grab the opportunity to ask him a few girly questions. Read on, ladies, he's not just funny, he's got a soft centre. • Tell us about how it all began - where did you and Sharde meet, and how did you make her fall for you? Like any good modern day romance, it was in the workplace To View More >>

Jennifer from Nova Photography recently changed over to a Workspace hosted site. We had a quick chat with her about the process and why she made the switch. Tell us about yourself and what you do! I'm a Scot/Kiwi, having lived equally on both sides of the globe, I'm a wife and a mother as well as custom portrait photographer! I love to work with families and especially love pregnancy and newborn shoots. Nothing is more amazing to me than creating everlasting memories for my clients and providing them with timeless portraits to look back on and treasure forever! I am also moving in to birth photography To View More >>

[caption id="attachment_12140" align="alignleft" width="300" caption=""Hi, my name's Angelique!""][/caption] Who drank the Koolaid? - Ed. Sometimes when I'm on the phone with clients, we start talking about different album companies. Typically, we gush about how gorgeous Queensberry albums are. Occasionally, on the other end is someone who has never actually seen a Queensberry book. I still gush. They question it. After all, I work for the company – of course I say it's best? Here's the thing, I tend to only want to work for companies I can stand by. While I've had a few bumps along To View More >>

Doing their Chicken Little impression, the media say the sky is falling. Some of our clients are worried, but personally I wonder. Here's why. First, Heather and I have been through it before (no, not the great depression! that was our parents and grandparents)... 1. The 2001 Tech meltdown. Sure, they probably weren't as bad, but we survived them all. In fact in each of those years except 1984 our sales increased. And we To View More >>

Emma Hughes designed these beautiful wedding albums for Maya & Will. The bride and groom chose a gorgeous 14x10 album with a leather 1/4 page photo front. The photograph is printed on a metallic paper with a textured laminate applied which seals the image and makes it especially hard-wearing as a cover option. Maya liked a white page design and Will preferred the black page designs, so the album was created with alternating black and white pages. Rather than getting a replica of Maya and Will’s feature album, their parents decided instead to choose a 10×7″ matted album, custom designed To View More >>
