When it comes to frames and other wall art products our goals are very simple: • Beautiful prints presented in a way that shows your work at its very best.  • A service that's as close as possible to hands-off for busy professionals.  • Products that can be delivered pretty much anywhere, drop-shipped if you want.  • An easy-to-understand range that you can sell retail through Workspace. With that in mind, we've been working on some updates. Here's what’s new! New frame glazing options (By "glazing" we mean the glass or other material that covers the photo To View More >>

It’s been over 18 months since we launched our  frame range, and it’s time for the next step. We’ve been absolutely delighted with the response so far, but we want to do even better, and we’re pretty excited to get started! We’ll be announcing updates as they’re ready to go live, but here's an overview of what’s coming up — plus an invitation to send us your own feedback and suggestions. 1.  With the benefit of experience we’re introducing new glazing options. From today, for shipments within New Zealand, we’re moving to To View More >>

Categories are a great way to divide images in a Gallery into separate sub-groups. For a wedding, for example, you might have categories called Getting Ready, Ceremony, Reception and so on. That means your clients can jump to the Ceremony images, for example, without having to scroll through hundreds of other photos. You can now upload directly into Categories using the Workspace uploader. Here’s how to create a new Category, and upload directly into a Category using the Workspace uploader. 1. UPDATED: corrected an error with the Faux Leather selection. We're getting ready to introduce new cover material and embossing options, and we're pretty excited about it. But first we need to say goodbye to some of the existing range. It's hard turning our back on things we love, but we need to make way for the new. And normally the reason is simple … not enough sales. The good news is that the discontinued materials will be available "while stocks last". We just won't be reordering them, and we won't be including them in our swatches, which we're To View More >>

Last week we shipped the very first real live order for our new medium-weight lay-flat Q Books. Not a prototype, not a concept drawing or trial album, but our very first, real live order. These lay-flats were just a part of our 2015 launch, our biggest in years, with new cover materials, new panoramic flushmounts and much more. We showed them first at WPPI and SWPP, but despite our own excitement and the enthusiastic response, we’ve resisted shipping the lay-flats until now. Why? To make them perfect they needed a little extra love, so we went back to the drawing board. The last To View More >>

What a difference two weeks make. Before the holidays the word of the day was over. Over Work. Over Shopping. Over Eating! Rested and restored the world looks a different place, and the word of the day is new. New Year. New Treasure Box. New Packaging. New Covers. New Books. New Pages. We’re welcoming 2015 with our most comprehensive product update in ages. And if you’re going to SWPP in London you'll be first to see them — Stephen and Sonya are looking forward to catching up. We'll have more about products and prices in just a few days, but meantime, what did we learn from To View More >>

I run the Queensberry Bindery - never say "factory"! It’s a great privilege, and we do enjoy watching visitors gasp and smile at how much handwork and care goes into making a Queensberry. So this week, as we release our new packaging, I thought I'd show you how even our presentation box is a handmade product! We love handmade, and we love the companies that practice it, so we felt right at home with Glenn and the team at Artrite. They do a lot of fine art screen printing for New Zealand artists like Dick Frizzell, Stanley Palmer, Michael Smithers and the late Don Binney. You can see some To View More >>

We love meeting New Zealanders doing good things around the world, so it was great to catch up with Rachael and Andy McKenna last night. Born and bred a Kiwi, Rachael has published fourteen books over the course of her career, reflecting her passion for photographing pets and babies. Rachael and Andy have been based in France for the last four years, so no surprise that her latest titles are the delightful The French Cat, The French Dog and Lunch in Provence. Rachael's latest project is The New York Dog. If you're card-carrying dog lovers like us, you'll find the images in this blog post heartwarming. To View More >>
