Offering products in your photography business doesn’t mean turning into a pushy salesperson. (Oh, I've said that before!) Done well, selling is just another form of great service. Here’s how to make it feel effortless and truly valuable — for both you and your clients :) 1. Start with the why Don’t jump straight into product talk. In your interactions with clients, help them understand why printing matters. Share stories, examples, and your own philosophy. Be the person who loves their products! Selling printed products doesn’t have to feel awkward or pushy. When you believe in the value of what you’re offering, that confidence naturally transfers to your clients. The key is to make products an expected and effortless part of your process — not a last-minute add-on. When you position prints, albums, and frames as a meaningful part of the photography experience, clients will begin to see them as essential, not optional. Here are a few simple ways to make product sales feel natural and genuine: 1. Show, Don’t Just Tell Always have stunning samples on hand. Let clients To View More >>

Love matte printing and matted albums? If your answer's yes you'll love that our Smooth Matte stock is now available in the Overlay Matted range. We already offer a range of beautiful print options in Overlay Matted, including Silver Halide Lustre and Tintoretto, but we know Smooth Matte will be just as popular. Smooth Matte offers that desirable Fine Art look — but being offset printed it's more affordable and more durable than inkjet printing. (If you'd prefer a textured "water-colour" finish go with the ever-popular Tintoretto.) Smooth Matte is available right now through Workspace. To View More >>

Flushmounts are our most popular albums, but we get two requests regularly — more pages and less confusion! So, amongst other things, we’re simplifying the range and adding new thin pages. Watch out for the release announcements, and the introductory offers. Here’s what we’ll be offering in Flushmount: — All album sizes (including new 9x9 and 12x9, which we expect to introduce in the New Year —they’re already a hit in Studio Albums). — All our cover and upgrade options. — Heavy, medium and thin pages (for up to 30, 45 and 60 pages). — Three To View More >>

Congratulations to the winners of the 2018 International Wedding Photographer of the Year awards. The competition was a great success with more than double the entries of 2017, and over sixty countries represented. The overall winner was Australian Dan O’Day, but of course closest to our hearts was the album category, sponsored by Queensberry, which was taken out by a beautiful entry from Latvian photographer Linda Lauva. It tells the story of a small and very charming DIY wedding on the bride and groom's land, by the river, deep in the Latvian countryside. You can see To View More >>

Sometimes you get lucky! Andy and Wendy left this remarkable story on our Facebook page. We live in the UK. Last December our house was flooded by a tidal surge and EVERYTHING on the ground floor was ruined.  We had so little notice that all we had time to save was one of our cars, our dog and a handful of personal papers. We were devastated when we realised our wedding album, created by Queensberry in 2002, was among the items lost. It was our pride and joy, and we despaired of ever replacing it. The original photographer had finished doing wedding photography, we didn't have his To View More >>

We’re truly grateful to the hundreds of photographers from around the world who took part in our Bragging Rights promotion. Here, in no particular order, are the people whose work we chose to celebrate the love and laughter, vibrant cultures, dramatic environments and compelling stories we see every day in the books and albums we make... Dmitry and Victoria Fedotov are documentary wedding photographers based in Russia. The image above is from an elaborate wedding held in Moscow. It featured a traditional Russian ceremony and gorgeous reception with musical and dance entertainment. To View More >>

Nichola and Sunhong wed at the Hermitage Hill in Wellington, rural New South Wales, Australia. It was a warm, intimate wedding with a distinctive 1920's vintage feel. Sheer Image Photography photographed their special day and has designed this lovely album for them. Nichola and Sunhong have chosen Tintoretto for their page stock - a textured, art stock that compliments their images perfectly. About the dress: "I think it had been sold to the vintage seller by a man and the dress had been his mother's wedding dress. The fabric was so delicate that it couldn't be dry cleaned and I To View More >>

Mario Lopez (current TV host on The X-Factor) and his fiancee Courtney Mazza wed in the beautiful Punta Mita, in Mexico at Joe Francis' compound. Kevin Weinstein, photographed their two-day extravaganza beautifully. If you think a videographer getting in your shot can be frustrating, or a little iPhone jutting out in the aisle, Kevin had to dodge an entire film crew, producers, and the army it takes to produce a reality TV show. This beach-side wedding ticks everything in my books. Jaw-dropping location, a mariachi band, a grand wedding cake (created by Carlos Bakery ), and a midnight To View More >>

Michelle and Guy wed at the Milk Station in Otaki, New Zealand. The photographer of the day was Siaosi Photography who are based in Wellington, New Zealand. With a wedding of only 25 guests, it was a relaxed and intimate day shared with loved ones – the perfect celebration for Michelle and Guy. Translucent title pages are a great introduction to any album. I just adore the soft shades of purple & grey throughout this 10x10 Flushmount Album (I'm a sucker for anything Lavender!)
