We offer 1/4, 1/2 and full Photo Front covers for each our album formats (the photo occupies 1/4, 1/2 and almost the entire front cover respectively). You can use one of our personalised black-and-white, sepia or full-colour templates, or create your own design. Either way, we strongly recommend creating the cover layout in Photojunction (more on this below).

Your Photo Front cover photograph will be protected by a special UV-protective lustre photographic laminate which bonds to the print and provides a fine texture. The coating offers protection from the elements and surface damage. This laminate, combined with the genuine leather binding, provides a cover with good durability.

Ordering instructions and design notes

Your cover photograph needs to be cropped and sized correctly, click here to download a pdf on how to design the correct Photo Front Cover. You must also allow for approximately 15mm bleed where the image wraps around the top, bottom and right hand side of the cover. If you intend to make a digital copy of the cover design, scaling down means you will lose more - 30mm or even more.

This problem is easily avoided if you design the cover in Photojunction v6.22 or later. The software will automatically crop and size the image to the right dimensions and accurately show the bleed allowance.

If you don't use Photojunction, please take care to get cropping and sizing right – where necessary we apply a cover design artwork charge. Click here for a table of dimensions.

A final note on digital copies: creating these from 1/4 Photo Front originals is not practical, and we don't offer them, substituting leather instead.

With Photojunction you can export the high-res file for printing and save it to the Exports folder for inclusion with your page layouts when you send them for printing. The image must comply with our file specifications.

Please ensure that you clearly identify the relevant filename and order when sending us prints or digital files for your Photo Front cover.

Leaf and Crown covers

These are available in all our formats. They occupy the same dimensions as our 1/2 Photo Front covers and are available in black leather only. Please include text for the Bride and Grooms' names and wedding date with your order. Please note that we cannot modify the format as illustrated (including the font style).
