Justine Ungaro has just published a stack of images of her first Musée album on her blog and agreed to let us feature them here too. A beautiful wedding. Beautiful album. And beautiful bride... You may recognise her as former American Idol judge, Kara Dio Guardi ;) Here's what Justine had to say about Queensberry and her first Musée... I discovered Queensberry albums way back in 2003, my first year at WPPI and have been using them ever since. Queensberry is based in New Zealand and their attention to detail and level of craftsmanship of their albums is always notable. However, in 2010 they really managed to outdo themselves when they unveiled a brand new line of albums which they call Musee. I was absolutely blown away by how exquisite these albums are, they are sort of reminiscent of a Gutenberg Bible or some other ancient, priceless book. The first truly couture wedding album I’ve ever seen. Now these albums aren’t for everyone…but I knew they would speak very clearly to certain people. This is the album I plan to create to house my own wedding images…when I eventually get around to it (sorry honey, I promise). But I knew exactly who would be my first guinea pig, my friends & clients Kara and Mike whose wedding I photographed in Prospect Harbor, Maine last July. I knew they would trust me to create for them something truly beautiful and Mike decided to commission the wedding album as a gift for Kara on their first anniversary. I have since visited the album at their home and it makes me so happy to see it proudly displayed in a place of honor. Something to be handled and enjoyed regularly, not hidden away on a bookshelf somewhere. Something that will last for generations, that will be passed down and only get more beautiful with age. Something I had to share with all of you here. Click here to see more images of Kara and Mike's Musée on Justine's blog. Thanks for letting us share Justine! Cheers, Nigel PS You'll also find Justine and Kara on Facebook and Twitter... - Justine on Facebook and Twitter - Kara on Facebook and Twitter.
