Step 8: Export your image files for printing

You’re now ready to export the page layout image files using Photojunction’s High-Res Export Wizard. The Wizard will do automatically what would take you hours of time in Photoshop. (If you’re sending the printing to Queensberry, make sure Photojunction has our Lab Settings installed.)

The Wizard uses Photoshop’s scripting function to run a diagnostic check on your files, open a new blank canvas (sized to fit your chosen album format), open, crop and size your images, apply any effects, paste the images to the canvas and save the layouts in a folder to disk as layered Photoshop files.

These files are ready for further enhancement, colour correction etc before printing. Your “Cover image” (Step 4) is exported in exactly the same way.

Please check your out-put files for problems before going any further. Things to look for include missing images, soft or pixelated images and rotation, scaling or cropping problems.
