Full Colour Service eliminates many of the technical hurdles involved in going digital - to the extent that none of the items mentioned below are strictly necessary if you decide you don’t need to soft proof images on screen. Otherwise, they’re essential tools. You’ll find links below to additional help resources if you need them.
Colour management tools in our Starter KitNone of the items mentioned here are strictly necessary if you’re using Full Colour Service and decide you don’t need to soft proof images on screen. The CD included with the Queensberry Product and Services Guide in our Starter Kit includes the following: 1. Our current Lab Profiles for printing on Kodak Endura Lustre and Metallic Paper. You’ll need these if you want to preview on screen how the final prints will look. These profiles can also be downloaded from this website. 2. A test image file called Queensberry.TIF You’ll also find a print made on our lab equipment from the test image file in the Starter Kit. This print and the image file are used together for two purposes – to verify that your colour management system is working and to act as an aid to calibrating monitors. (If your colour management system is working properly the Monitor Test Image will match the digital version from the CD when you view it on screen in Photoshop.) If you’re a Queensberry client and need these items to check your colour management set-up, please
