Queensberry is a full-service lab that can quickly and effectively correct problem areas in your image files - anything from custom colour correction to softening facial lines, opening eyes, removing minor distractions from images, and major artwork. Prices vary according to the complexity of the service.

We review your Full Colour Service files before we print them

When we review your Full Colour Service files, we put your job on hold if we discover problems with your files that we believe require artwork, and ask you for your instructions. Some of our clients provide us standing instructions authorising us to undertake and charge specific work as required.

We do not guarantee that we will discover any or all problems that you or your client might notice. In the end, this is your responsibility and a matter of judgment. But our “extra pair of eyes” is a valued part of our service for many clients.

How to send your instructions 

Clear communication is vital to avoid misunderstandings. For album work, we recommend using the Notes function in Photojunction to enter your instructions.

Sometimes standard colour correction isn't enough

Standard colour corrections adjust colour, density, contrast and gamma across an entire image, or each individual layer in a page layout. That’s what’s covered by Full Colour Service, and is all that’s required for almost all album work. If not, you want “custom colour correction”, which will be charged at artwork rates. Burn to CD

All artwork can be saved to CD so that you have a permanent copy. There is a small charge for this. Finished artwork is available for future printing, meaning you pay only print-ready prices on further prints unless you request further services on the image.

How we charge

We charge for file retouching and manipulation by the hour in five minute increments. Our Digital Art Charges form lists typical services and and times as a GUIDE ONLY. We will contact you about complex orders that may exceed our estimates. 

Quotations

You can request a quote for artwork before we proceed with any job. We need to sight the work before we quote on lead-time and pricing.
