In order to be fair to all our clients and offer the best possible service, generally speaking – if you cannot find something in our website or product literature – we won’t be able to make it for you.

However we make certain exceptions if what you want is a non-standard variation of a current, standard product.

Album-related non-standard charges (check your price list for details)

• Album accessories not ordered with the album itself (eg Carry Cases) – these constitute a separate order and freight charges apply.

• If you design an album with two or more mat colours and/or two or more page colours you will be charged a non-standard fee for each colour, including the first.

• Non-standard personal titles and cover motifs in feature albums (variations to templates or to our Price List terms) incur a charge.

• Non-standard page edging in feature albums (where the edge tape is a different colour to the protective corner) incurs a charge per page.

• Non-standard cover motif backing in feature albums incurs a charge (Black, Ivory, Silver and Gold are no charge - other page colours are available but cost extra).

• An extra charge applies to Titles and Cover Motifs (including "blank" motifs) in Victorian Bound, FreeStyle and Linen-Tie albums, and to Cover Motifs on Galleries.

• Extra charges apply to Digital Copies if they include Cover Motifs or Flip pages, or if they’re made from Matted albums or ordered separately from the main album.

• ALL OTHER non-standard cover, page and/or assembly requests incur an extra charge. We cannot guarantee that we can meet all non-standard requests - please enquire first. For example, if you would like a cover made in a non-standard material we will need to see a sample before committing; dress fabrics are not suitable.

• Mat design charges apply if you are not sending your orders using Photojunction and we needto create a custom page layout for you.

Printing-related extra charges (check your price list for details)

• Flattening layered files sent for Print-Ready service incurs a charge.

• Creating Page Layouts from Photojunction Client Files (available with Full Colour Service only) incurs a charge.

• All other file handling necessary to match your files to our specifications is charged at an hourly rate. In addition, printing from Print-Ready files that require such manipulation will be charged at the Full Colour Service rate.

• Photoshop artwork (retouching) is charged at an hourly rate. This charge also applies if we we need to create or modify cover designs for cover motifs or photo front covers.

• Liquid protective coating on album prints not done by Queensberry incurs a charge (the smallest print size we can coat is 6x4in (15x10cm).

• Test prints incur an extra charge (but we offer FREE test prints of your first two Album Printing orders).

Things we don’t offer:

• Albums with more than thirty pages (60 sides).

• Digital Copies from albums that we did not print and assemble.

• Digital copies with a cover or pages that are different from the main album.

• Dress fabrics as cover materials.

• Blind embossing can not be combined with other cover options/motifs.

Things we didn’t think of!

Given the highly customised service we offer, it’s not surprising that our clients often come up with unexpected and unintended ways to create albums from the components and design elements that we offer.

If we can’t do what you want, we apologise in advance. If we can, please understand that we need to charge extra to cover our costs.
