Introducing our support team

Middlemen know less about you than you do, and less about us than we do... We figured, why get them involved?

You can contact our knowledgeable Client Support team by phone or email at any time. They’re here to look after your interests as a Queensberry client and resolve any problems you encounter - and they do. If you’re nursing a question, a suggestion, a problem - or worse, a grievance - please let us know.

Sonya Baugh - Client Support Manager

altSonya has worked for Queensberry for fourteen years, and this is her fourth role. Previously she was an Account Manager for five years, responsible at different times for our United Kingdom, North American, New Zealand and Australian clients. Before that she ran Despatch and Production. She knows our business inside out - and she gets things done.

Sonya’s family comes from the North of England but she was born and raised in Queensland, Australia. Sonya met Stephen nineteen years ago when he was working for Xerox in Brisbane. Sonya and Stephen returned to NZ in 1996 to join the family company and loved it so much that they became part owners of Queensberry in 1998. They have two daughters, Alexandria and Charlotte. Sonya is a keen amateur photographer, and has a great passion for recording family images, and a vast album collection to prove it.

Gino Demeer - Account Manager (US and Canada)

altGino is passionate about all things photographic, in particular wedding photography. In the years that he has been with Queensberry he has been involved in many aspects of the business including quality control and client support, giving him an intimate knowledge of all things Queensberry. His clients are spread throughout the USA and Canada, and over the years he has worked with hundreds of photographers from all over the world.

Gino's past work experience includes customer support work as an architectural sales rep. He is also a keen traveller and has explored many parts of the world including Russia, Europe and Asia.

Michelle Garland - Account Manager (New Zealand, Australia and Asia)

altMichelle has been looking after New Zealand lab clients for over nine years. Over the last few years she has extended her client base to include our New Zealand, and now our Australian album clients. Michelle has a strong background in administration, accounting and a hint of IT.

Client contact and support has always been one the most enjoyable aspects of Michelle's role and she is happy that that is her full time position as the New Zealand and Australian account manager.

She has another fulltime role being a Mum with three children.  "Work life is a breeze compared to getting the kids to tidy their rooms!"  That said, she wouldn’t have it any other way.

What’s important to Michelle?  "Family, friends, me time and enjoying life."

Natasha Lewis - Customer Services

altNatasha’s main work experience has been in hospitality, first in India where she was born and raised and then in Dubai with Jumeirah International, Dubai’s flagship five-star hotel chain. For seven years she handled Reception and Room Reservations for hotels in London and Dubai.

She and her husband migrated to New Zealand in August 2003. They have a daughter Azana, who was born in Auckland and is a "true blue Kiwi" (who loves her jandals and Tip Top ice cream !)

Natasha began work at Queensberry in May 2006 and does sterling work partnering Gail in Customer Service. She is an avid reader and a keen foodie who loves sampling new cuisines and is addicted to the Food Network channel. She looks forward to travelling more now that her daughter's older.

Gail Regan - Customer Services

altGail has been the friendly voice on the end of the phone at Queensberry for over ten years, and part of our team for more than twenty, having previously worked in production and despatch. Always unflappable and always helpful, she answers your queries, solves your problems (or finds the person who can!), finds your shipments - and all round personifies the best Queensberry customer service.

Gail loves travelling and has visited many parts of the world over the years. She hitchhiked through Europe for 3 months when she was on her OE in the UK, quite a few years ago.

In recent years she has started travelling again, (once the children grew up and left home) mainly to meet up with her Daughter, Liz, who now lives in London and they have travelled together, to Europe, Canada and New York. More recently her favourite spot is a tropical Island (Cook Islands) in the South Pacific.

Gail is a keen gardener, devoted to her friends and adult children - and loves following the Rugby (All Blacks) and Cricket (Black Caps).

Kirsten Weir - Client Support

altKirsten was born in Malaysia, and reckons migrating to New Zealand when she was four was the start of her travel bug.  Her family come from England, Scotland, Australia and Norway, but she calls New Zealand home. In true Kiwi tradition, she’s done the “Big OE” (Overseas Experience), spending her time in London, Edinburgh and Kalymnos Greece.

She and her husband have seven-year-old twin boys to keep them on their toes.  Having never lost the travel bug, she can’t wait to travel with them.  She’s a keen amateur photographer and enjoys capturing her boy’s milestones and photographing friend’s children. Her past work experience includes Customer Services and Project coordination for various telecommunications companies.

Katrina Williams - Client Support

altKatrina is the newest member to our team. She lives and breathes photography, ever-since she developed her first negatives in a darkroom aged 10, she has been hooked.

Katrina has worked in the industry for several different companies including her own business with her husband in West Auckland.

When Katrina is not getting excited about photos, she is usually at a beach or on the farm where she grew up. In her spare time, she gets lost in books and is currently working on her first novel. She also loves baking - the sweeter, the better.

Dean Miller – Client Support (USA and Canada)

altDean is glad to be a Kiwi, and has lived in New Zealand all his life. He enjoys making the most of the outdoors – hiking, fishing or taking scenic road trips. Appreciating all that New Zealand’s geography has to offer, he takes an increasing interest in capturing the country’s beautiful and varying landscapes through a camera lens.

His first work experiences was helping out in the family hydroponic tomato growing business, from picking and packing tomatoes, carrying out plantwork through to moving the business into the age of IT.

Seeking a change and new challenges, he started work at Queensberry in November 2005. Roles have included printing, film-scanning, FTP support, order processing, printing and IT support. He has a strong knowledge of Photojunction and Queensberry’s ordering processes.

Sandy Hoogveld – Client Support (UK)

altSandy has always had a creative streak and early in her career channelled this towards the print industry - going back to the photo-lithography days of film. Over the years she worked for a number of large print companies and experienced all the new technologies as they evolved, both offset and digital.

Along the way, Sandy spent a stint living in London on her OE, which allowed her to travel extensively.  Cuddling the most adorable lion clubs in Zimbabwe and enduring freezing conditions in the middle of Tibet's winter at Everest Base camp rank as some of her most memorable travel moments.  She also spent six months travelling through India with her photographer partner, where she claims she learnt patience!

Sandy has now moved back to Titirangi with her partner and a very independent, happy girl, Kayla.

Angelique Buckley – Photojunction Support

altAngelique is based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with her husband, dog, cat and recent edition to the world, her son Ben.

She's a self confessed nerd who loves photography. She studied Graphic Design at school, minoring in business, and started designing wedding albums in 2005. She was introduced to an early beta version of Photojunction Remix, and fell in love. She also worked for Apple for five years before joining Queensberry's support team.

Angelique has a passion to help photographers, and because she's based in the states, she's awake when we're all fast asleep, so help is there when you need it.

Christine Rust – Photojunction Support

altChristine started at Queensberry in 2005 as a member of the Photojunction Support team working the 8pm to midnight shift while finishing the homeschooling of her four boys during the day. She worked at her previous vocation for 16 years as a full-time mother, nurse, teacher, chef, cleaner, taxi-driver, negotiator, judge and jury for her family.

As her younger boys have started attending the local high school in the latter years of their education, she is now covering the daytime shift for Photojuction Support.

Born in England, Christine was a young child when her family emigrated to NZ by ship - which nearly put her off boats and travelling for life. It's only recently that she's decided travel is not such a bad thing, after a trip back to the UK with her Mum and sister, getting accustomed to staying in good hotels and fine dining at the best restaurants.

Peter Attwood – Technical Support

altBorn and bred in Waiuku, a small town south of Auckland, Pete lives on a 3/4 acre spot of land with his wife and their three girls. He grows his own fruit and vegetables and even makes his own cheese.

Pete has worked for Queensberry for over 12 years, starting out as a film developer then moving on to printing, custom colour printing, film scanning and digital printing. After that he ran the lab's order processing department and is now part of the Technical support team.

He admits he's a bit of a geek and in his spare time has started building a replica of the Golden Hall from the Lord of the Rings.
