We can design your album for you in Photojunction™ from the images that you supply. Because it's so important to understand your specific design requirements, please contact Client Support if you’re interested in using our services.
When you ask us to design an album for you, you should supply only those images you want to appear in it, and they should be in the order you want them to appear. As you’ll see, the cost will depend on how you present the images to us and whether the album pages are to be matted or digital (un-matted). How it worksAlbum design is charged on a per-image basis and will be treated as a separate order from the album order: we require payment before we start work on the design. The price will depend on how you present the images to us and whether the album pages are matted or digital (un-matted). You should supply only the images you want in the album as you will be charged for all the images submitted. Please use our Design Order FormOur Design Order Form will help us establish your design style preferences, for example: "contemporary classic" (an uncluttered, clean look) or "bold and busy" or "lots of faded background images and colours". Please specify how many pages you want in your album. Clients tend to design on average 5-6 images per layout (two sides) for a 12 inch or larger album, and for the smaller albums 1 to 3 images per layout. This will give you a good balance of larger and smaller images. The design will be emailed to you as both a QuickTime movie and an Album Report PDF for approval. We offer up to 8 individual image edits (changes to the size, position, treatment etc of a particular image) free of charge. Extra edits will be charged for. Matted albums containing Special Effects or Composite images will be charged at Digital prices. Non-photographic "inserts" such as matted titles and invitations CANNOT be replicated in Digital Copies. Design notesIf you present the images as a Photojunction file- All images must be rotated, grouped and sorted into the order in which you generally want them to appear in the album.
- Any images not required in the album must be moved to the "Reject" categories.
- Use the Notes function to highlight images you want to feature or group together.
- As well as the image files themselves, we will need the Photojunction files (PJF and PJT in v6.2x).
If you present the images as digital files- The images must either be grouped in sub-folders or named so as to clearly indicate the order in which you want them to appear in the album.
- Do not send any images that you do not want included in the album.
- Specify in writing any images you want to highlight or group together.
If you present the images as prints- Prints must be numbered on the reverse. If you want them in any particular order please let us know.
- Do not send any prints that you do not want included in the album.
- Specify in writing any prints you want to group together.
