Final 1.30 released
It’s been a while since we last released a final version of Photojunction (1.25), so let’s take a quick jaunt down memory lane and recall the major features we’ve released in the beta releases since 1.25.
Remix beta 1.26: A feature packed release which included text functionality, importing PSD’s as templates and images, and proof sheets.
Remix beta 1.27: The game changer – new interface, managed workflow and built in FTP to deliver complete, accurate, valid orders first time. Here’s a short video.
Remix beta 1.28 & 1.29: A couple of important patch updates.
Remix Final 1.30: The combination of six months hard work, four beta releases and the invaluable feedback of our loyal community… Final 1.30 is the most comprehensive, intuitive and effective version of Photojunction Remix we’ve ever released. We hope you’ll think so too.
In this version we’ve included:
- A new bug reporter: Making fixing any issues with your order a breeze by showing you exactly what needs to be fixed before moving on.
- Enhanced manual image sorting: Photojunction now saves your prefered image sorting methods for Groups and Collections.
- And the big one… the Photojunction Store.
Meet the Photojunction Store
Whether you’re a buyer or a seller, the Photojunction Store has huge potential.
An ’online marketplace’ may be a better name as the store enables you to buy and sell templates, actions and e-books – or whatever you think other photographers may be interested in.
Since we made Photojunction free our active user base, downloads and registrations have all jumped dramatically. Partnering with the Photojunction Store offers you a way to reach those masses, sell your products, and boost your income in the process.
It not an entirely new concept; if you’re familiar with iTunes or the Apple App Store for iPhones then you’ll know how an online store works. The potential is huge.
You won’t need to be a ’rock star’ to get noticed, we’ll feature items each week that stand out to us. And there’s a spot on the home page for recently added templates to give newbies some great exposure.
Selling an item is easy – clicking the big Sell button inside the store allows you to outline the details of your item, upload it and send to us for review.
When it’s been approved and we’re ready to release it in the store, we’ll let you know.
From there we look after everything else. At the end of the month, or when your account exceeds USD$50, we’ll pay out any sales you’ve made, less our 30% commission for the sale.
To check out the Photojunction Store and start selling your work, download the latest version of Photojunction (version 1.30) and click the Photojunction Store button on the home screen.
We strongly recommend you read our terms and conditions before you start buying or selling. You’ll find them in the Licence Agreement.
Keep an eye on our blog The Junction – we’ll be posting more information, videos and updates about the Store over the next couple of weeks.
Let us know what you think. We’re always keen for feedback and ideas.
All the best from Team PJ.
