Hi Ran, If you have multiple images with the same file names. I would use the browse for original option in Photojunction. Select the thumbnail image that you are concerned with and right click(PC) or control click(MAC) a pop up menu will appear. Select the Browse for original option and use the browse window to search for the correct file.

Is the "Relink" operation global and affects all the pictures? Or is can it be made to only affect a specific image folder?

I have several folders each with pictures of the same name (e.g. 001.jpg, 002.jpg and so on).

When I tried the "Relink" operation, what the software did was update ALL the pictures from all my image folders in the event window, to a single directory on the disk.

So now all the pictures called 001.jpg from all my image folders point to the same picture!

How can I fix this?

Hi Helen!

If you replace the images in your original high res folder, you would then want to select the images in Photojunction, Right-Click, and choose Reimport from original.

Your other option is to link to a different HiRes folder. In the Event Window, click More and choose "Relink HiRes Folder. You can then point Photojunction to the new location of the images (but because of the size change will also have to reimport from original).

Either way, be sure that the images have the same exact names so that Photojunction places them in the correct Apertures for you.

Hope this helps! If you have any other questions be sure to email us at info@photojunction.com

Angelique

Hello Angelique.

I have designed my album and unfortunately my images were low resolution. Is there any way I can re import the correct ones without having to design the album all over again. Thanks Helen

Hi Angelique,

I could not understand you voicemail and tried to call you several times....the number popped up as 000123456 which is very odd and if I knew it was you, I would answer.
I really need to get this proof album book done and it has been a frustrating procedure. The client is calling me and wants to know when it will be done..so I did not want to tell her the images are out of order.
Again, it's was difficult to understand you on the voicemail you left me and I would appreciate it very much if you would call me as soon as possible to clarify the problem.
Thanks,
Cynthia
