Queensberry Connects

Looking for sponsorship?

We get many requests for sponsorship of events and speakers and are keen to offer support where we can. Both parties need to be clear what to expect from each other, and of course the benefits. The following sets out in general terms some of the things we consider.

1. What is the event you are asking us to sponsor (name, speakers, dates, itinerary, audience, content etc).

2. What is the purpose and content of your event? Is it in line with our own goals? Will it interest and support our clients?

3. What you are asking Queensberry to provide by way of sponsorship? Please include all costs.

4. Please outline the benefits to Queensberry. For example, will our involvement be publicised in promotions? May we distribute a flier? May we attend the event and on what terms? May we speak for a few minutes, or introduce the speaker? Will the speaker be talking about our albums or software? Will we get our logo in the speaker’s slideshow?

5. Do you (or the speakers) support Queensberry? We are reluctant to sponsor anyone except active clients, especially if they have conflicting allegiances, or the speaker will be expressing a conflicting point of view.

6. If the event is directly or indirectly about technology and workflow, is it consistent with Queensberry’s own workflows and processes?

7. Are you looking for support from Queensberry or Photojunction? We will not normally sponsor events under the Photojunction banner alone (ie without mentioning Queensberry).

8. Who are the other sponsors (if any)? We normally decline sponsorship if we perceive any conflict of interest.

9. Is our participation acceptable to the other sponsors?
