"Middlemen know less about you than you do, and less about us than we do. We figured, why get them involved?”
Introducing our support teamYou can contact our on-line Support Centre at any time, or talk directly to one of our knowledgeable Client Support team. They’re charged with looking after your interests as a Queensberry client and resolving any problems you encounter. We pay them to help you - and they do. If you’re nursing a question, a suggestion, a problem - or worse, a grievance - please let us know. Sonya Baugh - sales team leader Sonya has worked for Queensberry for eleven years, and this is her fourth role. Previously she was an Account Manager for five years responsible at different times for our United Kingdom, North American, New Zealand and Australian clients. Before that she ran Dispatch and Production. She knows our business inside out - and she gets things done. Sonya’s family comes from the North of England but she was born and raised in Queensland, Australia. Sonya met Stephen seventeen years ago when he was working for Xerox in Brisbane and they have now been married for twelve years. They have two daughters, Alexandria and Charlotte. Sonya is a keen amateur photographer, and has a great love for taking photos of friends and family. Darlene Hildebrandt - account manager Darlene is a proud Canadian, born and raised in Edmonton, Alberta. Her clients are spread throughout Canada and the USA. For Darlene, photography is not a career or a job but a way of life and a driving force. “It’s my passion, it’s a creative release. I feel privileged making my living doing what I love.” Darlene also knows the business side of photography, having built one of Edmonton’s most successful portrait and wedding studios with her then partner, Chris Stambaugh. She first came into contact with Queensberry as a customer. “It was a quick and easy decision because we knew the Queensberry product would help differentiate us in the marketplace. We jumped right in.” Raktim Halder - account manager Raktim’s clients are spread thoughout Australia and New Zealand. He was born and raised in India, and came to New Zealand in 2001. After high school, he earned his first degree, in hospitality. A short but successful career followed as barman, restaurant supervisor and flight attendant, before he succumbed to the travel bug. After visiting “many beautiful places” he ended up in Auckland, where he added more work experiences to his busy CV - everything from apple picking to marketing and IT. When he joined Queensberry, his induction included making his own album - very helpful, he says to help him understand “the intricate processes that these beautiful albums go through - and the passion of the staff who make them!” In his spare time Raktim enjoys reading, painting, snorkelling, kayaking and cooking – a long-term benefit of those hospitality studies. We know for a fact he dances too. Jo Newman - account manager Jo’s a Londoner with a background in IT and human resources and five year’s experience running her own portrait and wedding business. Her Queensberry clients are spread thoughout the United Kingdom. Like Darlene, she first came into contact with Queensberry as a customer. After supporting the Queensberry team at Focus for a number of years, she was delighted to join us to support our many clients in the UK. Jo loves the challenge of getting to know our clients, problem solving, advising on business and pricing strategies and helping them to understand which of our products will help them to achieve their goals. She’s pretty nifty with Photojunction and FTP too! Michelle Ellmers - account manager Michelle has been looking after New Zealand lab clients for over seven years and has recently extended her client base to include New Zealand album clients. She has a strong background in administration, accounting and a hint of IT. Client contact and support has always been one the most enjoyable aspects of Michelle's role and she is happy that this has now become her full time position as the New Zealand account manager. She has another fulltime role being a Mum with three children. "Work life is a breeze compared to getting the kids to tidy their rooms!" That said, she wouldn’t have it any other way. What’s important to Michelle? "Family, friends, me time and enjoying life." Gail Regan - customer services Gail has been the friendly voice on the end of the phone at Queensberry for over ten years, and part of our team for more than twenty, having previously worked in production and despatch. Always unflappable and always helpful, she answers your queries, solves your problems (or finds the person who can!), finds your shipments - and all round personifies the best Queensberry customer service. Gail is a keen gardener, devoted to her friends and adult children - and loves following the Rugby and Cricket. Natasha Lewis - customer services Natasha’s main work experience has been in Dubai, where for seven years she was with Jumeirah International, Dubai’s flagship five-star hotel chain. She worked at Front Desk Reception and Room Reservations, then, as the hotel chain grew, progressed to Team Leader for Central Reservations, which handled room bookings for six hotels in Dubai and two in London. Natasha and her husband came to New Zealand in August 2003 and had a baby in February 2004. She began work at Queensberry in May 2006 and does sterling work partnering Gail in Customer Service. Gino Demeer - client support Gino is passionate about all things photographic, especially sports and commercial photography, as well as coaching and playing pool - “and Queensberry of course!” His eyes are set firmly on a photographic career, and right now he reckons he could do no better than be exposed to the experience of all the Queensberry clients he speaks to. His past work experience includes customer support work as an architectural sales rep. He has travelled extensively since he was 18, throughout Asia, Europe and Russia. Kirsten Weir - client support Kirsten was born in Malaysia, and reckons migrating to New Zealand when she was four was the start of her travel bug. Her family come from England, Scotland, Australia and Norway, but she calls New Zealand home. In true Kiwi tradition, she’s done the “Big OE” (Overseas Experience), spending her time in London, Edinburgh and Kalymnos Greece. She and her husband have three-year-old twin boys to keep them on their toes (latest antic: watering the living room carpet with the garden hose). Having never lost the travel bug, she can’t wait to travel with them. She’s a keen amateur photographer and enjoys capturing her boy’s milestones and photographing friend’s children. Her past work experience includes Customer Services and Project coordination for various telecommunications companies.
