Newsweek, The New York Times Sunday Magazine, The Los Angeles Times, The Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, were some of the publications to have showcased his images on their covers or front pages. Tim was nominated twice for the Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Rwandan genocide and Somalia's famine and civil war. At age 23, Tim was named as one of the "10 most promising photojournalists under age 30" by the World Press Photo Foundation. After more than a dozen years of working on assignment, Tim changed his focus from telling stories of world history to documenting the birth of a new family’s history on their wedding day. The majority of his couples are planning destination weddings in the Southeastern United States, though clients have entrusted Tim to create the visual record of their celebrations across the Caribbean, Europe and Africa. Tim’s journalism experiences and storytelling abilities allow him to catch the subtle, fleeting moments which reveal the human spirit at its finest.
Why Queensberry The book that I present to my couples becomes the first volume in their family history. I am confident that Queensberry’s build quality will preserve and protect these memories. Two generations from now, when her granddaughter is planning her own wedding, I want a current bride to be able to pick her book off the library shelf and be emotionally transported back to her celebration. That’s the power of photography, but it has to be preserved correctly. |
