The owner of Creative Images Photography, a boutique studio on Ferry Road in Christchurch, Bryan Isbister loves seeing the smiling faces of his very happy clients. Bryan specialises in three major areas of photography - Weddings, Portraits and Landscapes - and often all three areas of expertise can be called on in any one job. “Most of the weddings I photograph tend to be out of town in beautiful locations such as in the mountains or on wild beaches where I combine the art of both wedding and landscape photography... “The results are often stunningly dramatic, and really set us apart from others.” 
“At Creative Images Photography we strive for the best quality possible, and put all our energy into each job with the aim of continually refining and improving as we go. With a Graphic Designer working alongside me and my wife Anne helping out in the background we have a great little team - small and personal, to give that extra special service. “Our portrait work is challenging yet also rewarding - photographing mostly young children and families on location mostly around the beaches and hill areas of Christchurch and almost always in timeless black and white. What a great way to make a living, capturing the priceless expressions of children as they play, often totally unaware of the camera. The resulting images are often made into stunning canvas prints and truly emotive DVD slide shows with music. Having three teenage children of my own certainly makes it easier for me to relate to children of all ages, and of course that then translates to more natural images. “Queensberry have been very important to us for almost the entire 16 years that we have been in business - they have the same high standards and help us to produce the best books and albums that we have seen anywhere... The finished albums are simply beautiful and we are always receiving wonderful comments not only from the wedding couples but also from everyone who views them. “Photojunction, Queensberry's album planning software is just amazing. We get to concentrate on the design, and it really couldn't be easier. We can change layouts on the fly without any fuss, which is great when finalising the book with our clients. And if we need a hand, real people who are always pleasant and happy to help are only a phone call away...” Bryan has won 38 National Photography Awards, including 9 in 2007, is a Gold Bar Master Photographer of the NZIPP, and is currently a member of Honours for the NZIPP.
