His wedding images form a collection which moved me as a photographer who appreciates every moment he captures with his camera. Annabel Williams commented, “James Bignell’s image was one of the first images in the Fine Art category that my eye was drawn to. It had a quality which represented everything which is important to me with regard to photographic art. The image has a tone that draws your eye, holds you there and encourages you to stay with the image. The image would sit comfortable within The Tate Modern. “The portrait album that James submitted has a beauty and elegance which tells a story, unique only to the character within and that is what makes this collection of images so powerful and rewarding to all those allowed to share the story.”
