With matted albums, you have a choice: fully assembled albums, partially assembled or unassembled.

With matted albums, we can...

• Partially assemble (mount the mats only, as in the left-hand image above).
• Fully assemble (mount both the mats and prints on the underlying pages).
• Supply the mats unassembled (leaving you to put everything together yourself).

If you prefer to send us third-party printing to assemble, click here for a few things to bear in mind.

Partial assembly 

With Pagemount albums (illustrated above, top left) we attach the mats to the leaves and fix repositionable mounting film in the apertures. You just add the photos. You add prints to pre-assembled Overlay albums by slipping them behind the mats along an edge that we leave open.

Unassembled albums

Choose this option if you want to receive the mats loose and do all album assembly yourself. It’s common for people ordering Overlay style to put their own mats on the page.

Not many people order Pagemount albums unassembled and apply the mats and film to the page themselves (above left), but many people do mount the photos (right). We can supply lose mounting film if you wish.
